In some semesters, we offer a 5 day "choose your schedule option"!! During those semesters, you will be required to attend at least 3 days of the 5 day week. If the session is only a 3 day session, then you are required to attend all three days of the session. Each day will have a schedule that includes setting your daily writing goals, mini-lessons on writing, citing sources, motivation, etc.

Latecomer policy Researchers should plan to arrive prior to the advertised course start time. Except for exceptional reasons, there will be no admittance to a Graduate School or Faculty Training Programme FTP course 15 minutes after the advertised course start time.
Importance of booking commitment When booking on to a Graduate School short course you are entering into a commitment to attend.
This will ensure that your place can be offered to another researcher on the waiting list. Failure to cancel a place results in other researchers missing out on places through the waiting list process. It is unacceptable for researchers to just not attend when booked onto a course.
The Graduate School maintains records of those who repeatedly do not attend courses they have booked. Thesis Boot Camp is traditionally an intensive writing program for graduate students. However, this type of writing intensive can be tailored to any kind of writing project. Traditionally, a Thesis Boot Camp is completed in the last few months before a thesis or dissertation is due for graduate students to push themselves into finishing.

In addition, your boot camp instructors will be able to provide one-on-one writing consultations.
